National Public Radio (NPR) Interview

At a 2005 AAPT board meeting we discussed ways to increase public awareness of Play Therapy.  Kathryn Blackwell, Secretary of AAPT, decided to call National Public Radio (NPR) and ask that Play Therapy be a part of a mental health series they were airing.  NPR agreed and asked to interview several play therapists for the story.

Ryan Mills with NPR interviewed Kathryn Blackwell, Terry Bowen (then President) and Kim Brindley (President Elect) about Play Therapy.  On January 9, 2006 the interview was aired on NPR -- the article and transcript can be read here.
